apparently I lost something on trail
I step on the scale for the first time in a while and (drumroll please) I've lost a couple more pounds. I officially weigh less than 180 lbs. Well, no, not really. I haven't eaten or even had a glass of water yet this morning (water weighs a pound per pint, so it's a big issue in some forms of 'weight loss') (and the reason I don't weigh myself everyday, and the reason my weight seems to yo-yo up and down: it's all a matter of hydration) ...but it's still kind of cool. 180 is a new low, so while my weight will likely still fluctuate up and down and crap, I've established a new 'floor'. It also means I'm only 10 lbs. away from my target. I'm aiming for a weight that hovers in the 170-175 lb. range, in case you were wondering.
All that activity yesterday no doubt contributed, but this is an ongoing process. I don't think I lost weight entirely due to the running & walking I've been doing on the weekends. But every little thing helps in its own little way.
